Tommy Cash is an audio and visual artist from Tallinn, Estonia. Easily recognizable by his mustache and outlandish style I wanted to bring that same experimental energy to my design. To encourage users to interact with the layers of the vinyl both sides of the cover have a mustache shaped hole cut into them so that the layers underneath are visible. I wanted to create a unique experience while interacting with the vinyl so neither side can be recognized as the front or back and the contrasting styles of each cover merge together to create something new in the inner sleeve as well as disk label. All together this created a forward thinking concept that invites users to customize how they want to view the vinyl while maintaining a similar aesthetic to the
music itself.
